Zwei Wochen tägliches Adventkalendern, das haut sich schon rein, vor allem, wenn man ansonsten ein eher fauler Sack  gemütlicheren Publikationsrhythmus vorzieht.

Außerdem: Bei so viel Output fehlt der verehrten Leserschaft womöglich gar die Zeit, sich die Sachen näher oder auch bis zum finalen Endscreen anzusehen.

Beim heutigen Türchen ist das sicher der Fall. Trotzdem: Jubiläum!

Irrsinnige 20 Jahre ist es her, dass uns Doom in seine Labyrinthe geführt hat, und man muss es ehrlich sagen: Man sieht's. Allein die Tatsache, wie zweidimensional dieser Klassiker des FPS ohne Kopfbewegungen nach oben oder unten auf uns heutige Spieler wirkt, ist eigentlich erschütternd. DARÜBER haben wir uns also damals einen Ast gefreut - tja, ihr Spätergeborenen, so war das halt damals nach dem Krieg!

Warum deshalb nicht gleich ganz radikal werden und diesen Klassiker runtergebrochen auf die Essenz eines anderen Klassikers würdigen?

Bitteschön: DoomRL übersetzt Doom in die Universalsprache des Rogue-likes und ist gleichzeitig ein ziemlich guter Einstuieg in die Welt dieser ASCII-Komplexitätsmonster. Gratis, natürlich, mit grafischen Tilesets - "a fast and furious coffee break Rogue-like".

Wie bitte, das kennt ihr schon? Pech gehabt: Hausübung bis morgen: Einen Kakodämon erlegen. Vorwärts, Soldat! HURT ME PLENTY!
